1. Transport Tycoon / TTDX
First played this on a 486DX33mhz on DOS 6.22 and i am still playing it now!
2. Doom
First multi player game using a serial cable, games started out as co-ops but quickly changed to death matches after a few misplaced shots.
3. Starcraft
I normally hate RTS but this game is joy, perfectly balanced teams and numerous strategy's. So much better than C&C etc.
Honorable mentions:
BF1942: Excellent game, redefined multiplayer fps imho
Full Throttle: Not a fan of point and click games but this drew me in from start to finish
Little Big Adventure: An excellent game with amazing cartoon esq graphics for its day (hi-res SVGA on a crummy 486). Never completed it though
