Still waiting for a Generals 2 here, still playing it over 4 years later. Love it
It was a good game, but not a great game like the other C&C games. And what did Generals have to do with with the C&C universe? They can release a Generals 2 if they want, just as long as they don't put C&C above the title.

I couldn't even get into RA2 so I only played the first few missions before uninstalling. I thought the sprites looked miles worse than RA1 and that really put me off the game.

Brilliant. I started playing the original RA again last night, The intro music is just awesome. Oh, and bring back the giant ants! I missed them in RA2, or did I just not find them?
I really should get round to buying C&C3 at some point too...

As long as they sort out the AI for the harvesters i'll be happy - something that has never been good!

I never played the single player c&c general but i enjoyed playing lots of LAN skirmishes with my friends(zero hour). didn't find anything wrong with it. whys it so hated?

I'm not too impressed by the RA3 screenies so far. The best thing about RA and RA2 was the 'WW2 gone wonky' type tech, with a sort of futuristic spin on old tanks and boats and airships and attack dogs.
The new one looks like generals or C&C3, all flashy looking - especially the Japanese faction, which looks totally out of place.
Will reserve judgment until actually playing it though.

Most interesting aspect i've seen here is that they're going to back to building grids, even supcom has them, whilst building a base in cnc3 was painful. Can only hope it's more over the top fun again, i bought ra2 at least four times including decade and goty editions, hopefully this installment will not be so breakable.

The RA series always had naval units, the regular C&C GDI/NOD never did have usable sea units.
