If you get interested in your topic then it isn't as hard as you might think to do upwards of 10,000 words.
It will depend on your course to an extent but for law it was pretty standard to get 2,000-3,000 word essays, usually at the lower end for 1st year with one or two things like logbooks of your learning to split it up a bit.
Chugging on at a considerable pace with my lab work, putting in 8 hours a day atm in the lab, then 3-4 at night on the report/collation. Should get this baby finished a few weeks early
Handed my FYP in today, after heading to campus at 2am to print + bind 3 copies - I ended up coming home around 6am. I'm knackered, and I can't be bothered to check the grammar of this post.
Currently working on my FYP which is on using an IP camera and software that I am developing to process images for monitoring and logging people that are entering and leaving a university laboratory.
Basically, a person shows an ID card to the camera, and the software processes the image and stuff.
