About 3am yesterday morning I received GPU errors, equidistant vertical lines where the picture is distorted. This is a carbon copy of what happened to my Xbox360 a month before the GPU popped on it.
I'm gonna get on to Sony tomorrow morning and see if they'll be nice (or see if my warranty runs from my first replacement or from the launch day).

No. I'm on my 2nd Playstation 3 now, my first failed with the common Blu-Ray drive fault, but I've not heard of many PS3's dying from anything else really.
