Terry was slightly at fault but James should have been out sliding, smothering the ball. Notice in the closeup he is merely falling to his knees as though the ball is going to roll into his hands. It was cowardly. You want your keeper to be charging out there and making the ball his. He didn't want to know.

Other than that its not 'too' bad. Hargreaves doing ok considering his fitness, Barry not as well. Beckham is probably the best of a bad bunch in midfield. Gerrard is frustrating, Cole can't get involved and Rooney is not a sole striker. Personally I'd take Gerrard off for Owen and play Rooney in Gerrard's spot. Bentley on for Barry and move Bentley more advanced with Beckham sitting with Hargreaves.

Its not been too bad though. At times the hollywood passes have been coming into it but we've also looked more competent knocking it around. I just wish we'd keep it more simple sometimes, especially Gerrard. Its my only real criticism of him.
 
Got the NI game on the BBC media player, was just a fantastic own goal. Georgia had a penalty, keeper tipped it onto the post, it came back out to the penalty taker who got it caught up in his feet and was on the verge of a comedy miss before Healy helped him out and put it in the net. :D

His starting position was poor and he made no commitment to get the ball, he just crouched there and tried to let it run to him, you make the ball yours, thats why he is such a liability he makes bad, bad choices.

Anybody.

With Rooney on the pitch at least when he got it, it stayed with him.
These pair are bloody awful.

No more Beckham, no more stupid paceless performances.
Owen and Rooney up front, Bentley or Cole on the right, Carrick in midfield with Lampard or Gerrard and somebody with a decent left foot (Barry) on the left.
No more oil tanker style defending from terry and no more David sodding james in goal.

Thats all i ask.
