Saw this documentary where she visited africa. She did some tearful speach about feeding these starving people, "someone's got to help them...blah blah".

Wonder now that she's hit the big time what she'll be spending her dough on?

loaf of bread for the starving children

or

mansion in beverly hills

?
 
she makes me so angry! every channel, every radio station

1) Do you know that she doesn't give anything to charity?
2) Do you know what percentage of her income she gives to charity, if any?
 
I've got nothing against her personally but i don't like manufactured artists and although she may have a good voice her songs are very middle of the road.
 
She's crap. Everything about her sucks. /nuke from orbit.

The whole Bono/ Geldof pop star charity thing is so contrived it's unreal. Revelling in their self-righteousness and image.

Give to charity and help people, just don't go making a big show about it.
 
Annoys me when you get people like Paul McCartney on Children in Need urging kids to give thier pocket money or whatever thay can afford.

Id happily give 10% of my weekly income to a charity, IF someone like Paul McCartney did likewise, with his weatlh we wouldnt need charities :mad:

Bill gates has given billions to various charitable organisations and groups etc.. but none of it is ever documented or publicised. Nor does he appear on oprah bragging about etc.. unlike others.
 
Would that be Cowell you're talking about on Oprah there?

Not sure about that one - did he appear on Oprah to brag about it or find out as a result of appearing on Oprah?

I've also read somewhere that he plans to give the majority of his wealth to charity over time, that's what these insanely rich people should be doing imo.

I'm all for rich and successful people enjoying all that their wealth can bring them, but when it starts getting to the hundreds of millions stage, that's where I think it becomes morally questionable to hold on to it. It's just scandalous that there are people out there that have personal fortunes worth billions.

I really cannot stand the woman. The sooner she disappears down the Ex-Factor toilet the better.
 
I often think allot of these rappers could maybe use some of there wealth to help there own people in Africa, I've never heard of a rapper doing charity and yet allot of them are stinking rich.

Thats because they are only calling themselves 'african americans' when it suits them for a song lyric or to blabber on about their spiritual home. They couldn't find africa on a globe.
