PS3 Rumble vs. 360 Rumble

Fanboism aside, which controller do you think has the best and most satisfying rumble?

I just got my DUAL SHOCK 3 the other day and only tested it on motorstorm and MGS3. I was surprised how much PS3 games were missing rumble. I played motorstorm for 30 minutes with the rumble then went back to the sixaxis and was shocked at how boring it felt. Its a shame most PS3 users will never upgrade their controllers to the DUAL SHOCK 3.

The 360 rumble is stronger but just doesn't feel as good as the DUAL SHOCK 3. I'd have to go with the PS3 controller rumble.

Your thoughts?

I have never been a real fan of rumble in any controller, but I actually quite like it in the DS3 as it's more subtle than others. I think the rumble in the 360 pad and the DS2 were a bit too strong for my liking.

Having both a DS3 and 360, I can honestly say I prefer the 360's rumble best, it is more pronounced than that of the DS3.

360 rumble is much stronger, sometimes i don't even notice my DS3 rumbling, lol - kinda defeats owning it - more subtle is the rumble

I can't say I minded them as they were, although they weren't brilliant, but now that I have my trigger extenders I do yeah.

Bet you prefer the Wiimote rumble don't you

I haven't used the rumble enough on the PS3 to say which is better but i've always said the best use of rumble i have came across was Bioshock on the 360.....The variation in rumble with the Big Daddy's movements are excellent....It's not a feature i notice much but in that case it certainly added to the tension of the game

I dont care, I have rumble turned off. Always have always will. Having rumble on does not simulate riding the curbs at monaco. Having rumble on does not simulate taking bullets.

Its a rumble feature on 8oz of plastic. It adds nothing to me so I save battery life.

Not tried a DS3 but will probably pick one up as I have no second PS3 pad and I would like rumble for MGS4.

lol, wasn't there a rumble sex toy released in Japan for the PS2 and Rez? So your misses could get her rocks off while you play Rez... don't think I would ever get past the first level though tbh
