I had an 80386 sx33 which ran X-Wing just about ok. Think it was Dos 5.1 or maybe earlier version.. Can't remember the rest of the spec, maybe 4mb ram or something? Probably 640x480 resolution in VGA 256 colours (SUPER VGA hadn't come along at that point). I think Nascar was the first game I played with SVGA. Aaah, I had amazing fun on my PC and back then the internet wasn't really known. Think I was about 14 when I first logged on to Compuserve with my P75 and my parents got a large bill soon after, haha.

I guess if you're takling PC as in any home computer then I think it was my BBC with tape deck.

I had a commadore (sp) 64. My first real PC was a Compaq 486 33mhz with windows 3.1 I think, 420 mb hard disk. I remember upgrading it to 95 and it taking hours.

I think the first PC my family had was the Amstrad PC1512. I remember playing games like digger, frogger and Ghostbusters 2 :p Then I went to NES for good long and didn't return to the PC until we had 486 SX Olivetti PC from Radio Rentals.

My first PC was given to me when it was already 5 years old, thankfully in it's day it was a complete and utter beast.

486 DX 25 mhz
8mb Dram
340mb ESDI hard drive
60mb Tape Streamer
5¼ & 3½ inch floppy drives
512kb Orchid Prodesign Graphics card

The machine one of the very first 486s sold, the motherboard was phenominal. It was massive, every small non descript chip was socketed and had a hand writen label on it. It also used to rare EISA bus. Despite this non of the IO was built into the mobo.

Awsome machine but couldn't make the grade when Win95 came along.

First Computer was a Commodore VIC20 with expansion cartridge - I think this gave it an extra 16K of memory!

First PC was an Amstrad Mega PC, which I believe is a bit of a collectors item now and I think it's still in my dad's loft somewhere.

I remember upgrading it to 4mb Ram which at the time cost well over £150.

I also remember ordering a 240Mb HDD for it and it cost £240!!! They had no 240Mb units in stock and I got a 300Mb drive for the same price. Lol - at the time that was such a steal.
