Hey all
So basically I have two medium sized moles on my face - one is between my eye and nose :( Has anyone here ever had any moles removed? How much does it cost and which type leaves the most minimal scar?

I had a mole surgically removed from my penis last week, I'll never **** one of those again.

An ex of mine had a mole removed from between her eyebrows, no idea of the cost, but there was very little scarring (totally unnoticeable).

I had one removed when I was young and it was in the same place between eye and nose, mine was done on the Nhs , removed with a laser with little scarring and the only pain was a little jab to numb the area.

I had one removed from my back although that was for medical biopsy, it was cut off and sewn up, left a scar shaped a bit like an octopus.

They can freeze it, burn it* or laser it. Depending on size. Also, depending on where it is, can be free on NHS.

I have the * done on a mole on my face I kept cutting whilst shaving. Left 10% of it there though... should've gone back!

I've tried to convince my local GP to remove it already (I'm under 18), but they keep saying it'll leave a bigger scar. Which probably would be the case since they just cut it out. How do you get the NHS to laser it off?

I had one on my nose removed privately a few months ago. It's hard to explain the process but the consultant described it as 'filing it down'. It has pretty much 100% healed now. Cost Circa £300.

You could probably get it done on the NHS if you claimed it was making you depressed etc. But privately is certainly a lot quicker and I would imagine more pleasant.

By referral. But they don't "cut it off" as far as I know unless for biopsy. At all. My GP just burnt the bugger with something that looked like a car cigarette lighter.

Go back to your GP and say it is affecting your sex life/making you want to kill yourself/affecting your self image. It'll get done.

I had one removed from my shoulder when i was younger, they numbed the area, he scalpeled it out, and sent it away.
Quarterising it was funny, smelt like burnt meat (durr...)
They thought i might be a bit odd, as i had the nurse hold a mirror so i could watch :D
