New Metal Gear 4 Footage HD.

Was going to start another MGS4 thread for the IGN preview, so hope dont mind a topic Hijack? Anyway latest preview and it does sound awesome, think the last paragraph sums it up,

Oh this game is going to be sweet .... and I got my download code for the Japanese Metal Gear Online Beta, just incase we europeans get screwed over.

Yeah i saw that too, was very tempted to try it but ill have to change my email address for my JPN account first.

Well when you preorder the game you will get sent out a Disk called MGS saga 2 contains a catch up on the MGS series, in the US this also contains a number that you use to download and unlock the MGO beta that starts about 21st april for 2 weeks. The Disk is confirmed for the UK, but no one is sure how we will get the beta, most probably the same way as the US, think we will hear more on the KP podcast this week.

You don't dude, when it hits the 21st you go to your japanese account - account management - Enter playstation cards / promotion codes, and enterthe beta code you get when you sign up for it.

The only email you need is one that works so you can confirm your sign up for the konami japanese website.

Is the saga disk confirmed for here?, and the beta starts on the 21st of this month in japan and america ...... not much time to get out the saga disks to european customers .....

American retailers got their saga disks this week.

My JPN account is linked to a non existent Email address, thats why lol. Read the thread earlier today hope it works, but were getting the Beta so hopefully I wont need to use it. As you said useful just incase we get screwed, but listening to the KP podcast it has been mentioned many times about the Euro Beta so should be ok (still gonna do the JPN one anyway lol).
Im sure Ryan mentioned that it was coming for the EU on the KP podcast last week (may have to listen again), im also sure they said they would have more details about the MGO beta on this weeks one.

Any email address does, it does not have to be linked to your psn account - infact I used the email address attached to my regular psn account.


And I have a funny feeling we might just get the beta the same as the japanese , just sign up for it on a website.
 
well thanks Needles for that link, signed up.

Ill still be pre-ordering tomorrow in the hopes i can get a UK beta.
