Name an engrossing game that isnt stressful to play

Im recovering from an op, i need something relaxing to play that wont stress me out, but im bored senseless so i want something with a good story.

Any recommendations? 360 or Wii only.

Is Mass Effect an edge of your seat game or can you sit back and relax, ive played about 20 minutes of it and it hadnt grabbed me yet, but ive got 2 weeks sat at home doing nothing.

I was gong to say the same, Condemned isn't exactly a stress relieving game, only played through Chapter 1 and neither is Condemned 2*, that "schloop" noise has me spinning in circles.





*except when I tried the dumpster environmental kill and I started laughing out loud.

Some good suggestions, i have got quite a few of these games already but not played them much if at all.

Oblivion ive seen for £17.99 for the ps3, i think its supposed to be better than the 360 one.

I'll echo Lego Star Wars. Very simple and stress free, but great fun, involving, and pretty lengthy.

Ive played through lego star wars 1 and 2 already unfortunately, unless the double release for the 360 last year added anything new to the party.

How is any Katamari games not stressful? It's a manic race to get your Katamari to size within the time limit! It's quite fast-paced when it gets going.

Mass Effect is a good choice. I'm playing it through at the moment and the combat is, largely, quite easy. Since the action pauses every time you choose a skill/weapon, but you can still aim, it allows you to take your time in fights that seem like they should be quite manic. I'm enjoying the exploration, and the expanding story, so if that appeals to you, go for it.

I guess getting the basic size required isn't too hard. I just always end up going back and trying to get as large a size as possible (an 80-90+ score on Beautiful Katamari), and I find you really need to get perfect runs to do that, which can be quite frustrating.

I find any game with a time limit inherently slightly stressful too, even if it's ridiculously generous with it.
