Installed and ran a full defrag on each of my drives last night using PerfectDisk 08. Noticed today that around 50GB of my storage drive is missing.
Any ideas please?
[Edit]
It's more like 84GB missing.
When I highlight all my folders on the drive (it's a storage drive, so nothing hidden, no system files), right click and go to properties it says it's 230GB. Somehow 314GB of the drive is being used.
There are no huge hidden, or protected operating system files/folders in there either.
[Edit]
Bah, I it's Vista's restore points/previous versions system. Is there anywhere to change the amount of space it's allowed to use? Default is 15% which is ~70GB of my drive.
I got my space back by turning it off, but it's not ideal as I really like the previous versions system.
[Edit]
Could I maybe use a different drive for this data?
Thanks.
