IMO they should protest to clear Hamilton of any wrong doing... otherwise he'll get some questionably bad press about it and of course there will be folks on this very forum bringing the subject up with an anti-Hamilton stance in race threads to come...

Ultimately doesnt help where Hamilton is and they arent generally fighting for position in races with Renault so little advantage overall...

Not worth the hassle really...

Its a plain racing incident as far as Im concerned - first lap incident, where any mistake is exaggerated...

Yes it is, someone sprayed a bit of WD40 on Hamiltons tyres, they looked slightly Spanish.

The starting grid looked promising but all hope ended after the first lap. Gutted for Button. Well done to Ferrari for outright speed.

Seeing as we're off to Spain next it might be prudent to hold fire on the Alonso issue. After all the locals don't care too much for Hamilton as it is.

Mclaren need to get infront of BMW, after todays race.

Well done to BMW for getting up woth the big 2 to make the big 3.
Should add a little mix to this year.

Yep I know... the conspiracies will switch from "omg massa can't drive without TC" to "omg Hamilton is bad at starts and spatial awareness of cars in front"

I think McLaren have just had an off race - Heikki showed the pace is in the car, plus there's new bits for the next race.
