I'm finding theres a nice little back log of games for me to catch up on now after I left it alone for a while. Its a great console thats just starting to get going imo.

Wii ski is on the way which will use the board. Don't expect too much from wii fit, it's not really a game- more like an interactive fitness video!

OP: you don't mention that you have a nintendo console so i would highly recommend the wii. The no games thing is just a myth now, with a number of great games and a lot of good games coming as of late.

Still enjoying my Wii, although i'm more of a casual gamer these days.

I am just geting back into my Wii, there's some good games come out lately and coming up.

Just bought Pro Evolution Soccer on it which in my opinion is probably the best version of this I have played on any system. Also got House Of The Dead 2+3 with a Wii blaster, great fun. Also got Super Smash Bros Brawl today which is excellent and well worth a look.

Not to mention Mario Kart I have on pre-order for next week with the steering wheel which looks like great fun and everything for me anyway is rosy on the Wii front at the moment.

I like medal of honor for the wii, and bowling/gold and wii sports, thats all though

boxing is very poor imo, takes me back to the eye toy on ps2, crap as hell on some games

Wii+Wii Sports, PES2008, extra controller and depending on price of that instore, perhaps another game.

Yes, wiimote and numchuk come separate.

It comes with one, but for most games do i need the wiimote & nunchuk? for two player+.

For PES you'll need an extra nunchuk, so yeah, I'd get another one if I were you.

It's pretty 50/50 with other games whether they need a nunchuk though.

I've just got one, had a few mates over for a few days and we have been playing mario and sonic at the olympics for about 8 hours the other day. Absolute comedy gold when combined with all day drinking. I feel like I have been to the gym today. Also got wii sports (not played yet), PES 2008, mario galaxy (only just started playing), monkeyball.

Good choice - you know it makes sense

Let us know how you get on with it.

I'd suggest starting with Wii Sports to get the hang of controlling via the Wiimote, then when you're happy with that, strike up a game of PES.

Yeah really liking Wii Sports.

PES is hard to get used to, the passing is annoying

Been thinking of moh, as a lot have said its good, not tried Resident Evil.

Is there any good guns etc worth getting?

Very tempted to get a Wii myself, a lad at work is talking about selling his and I reckon I could get it at a reasonable price

Really interested by PES2008, Mario Galaxy and Mario Cart on it so it's very tempting......

Just do it, Wii Sports alone is VERY fun.

My whole family has played Wii Sports, lol.

My mum got bloody 195 on bowling on her first go >_<.

Thing is though I live out in the sticks so after a drunken night out we tend to just go back to my mates houses as it's nearer than mine and the Wii just seems more aimed at multiplayer gaming rather than single player and despite there being single player games that I like the look of I just don't know how much I will actually play on it if it's just me

Convince me that It'll get played in single player and I'll go buy it
