Midweek Football 8th-10th April ***Spoilers***

Arsenal bottled it basically, after they got the second goal there's no way they should've let Liverpool back in the game so easily.

I don't really agree with that mate, I think Arsenal were pushing really hard...

Apart from the brief 5 minute spell where they were just kicking it about between the defenders and the keeper, they pushed and pushed.

Adebayor missed an excellent chance, I just think he didn't expect to get the ball and tried to hit it first time rather than control it.

They didn't so much as let Liverpool back in the game, it looked like a quick break from a quick kickoff and a debatable call from the ref for a penalty.

They stuck 9 men in Liverpool's half after that and got caught on the break with only a knackered Fabregas back.

i want a man u liverpool final

Only if you can guarantee me a Liverpool win. I'd rather go out in the semi than lose that final.

Thought Skrtel was fantastic tonight. Was wondering what we'd wasted our money on after his first couple of games but he's coming good. Can understand Arsenal fans being peed off but it was still a pen just like the Hleb/Kuyt incident should have been.

Was interesting to see that modern footballers are actually capable of staying on their feet when they want to. 4 Liverpool players had a go at bringing Walcott down but credit to him, he kept going.

No neutral, Arsenal, Man.U. or real footballing fans can want Liverpool to get through now after that performance as they're just dull & filthy in all respects,
C'mon brothers join in with me;
"Blue is the colour, football is the game...."

You'd get through even if you had G|mp and Loki as your cb's ;)

Oi I was El Capitain of the College 2nd team at the height of my amateur career I will have you now. A commanding 5ft 7" centre back who was deceptively slow. :)

Anybody know whether the game is going to be repeated (ITV4 or somthing)? Regardless of the outcome it was a great game and i wouldn't mind watching it again.
