Which would be the best out of these don't do much mileage (8ooo PA) so as long as they last ~2years no issues. All the same price range so which;

Goodyear Excellence
Goodyear Hydragrip
Goodyear GT-2
Pirelli P6000
Toyo Proxes CF1
Firestone TZ200
Dunlop SP Sport
Kumho KH15

I have P6000's on mine as I got some vouchers from a pirelli employee. Perfectly adequate for my needs, had 4 in the past 2 months, went from some real budget ones on the front and the grip difference is massive! I know P6's arent seen as anything like a good tyre in terms of performance but as I said they do me just fine.

Got Dunlop SP Sports on mine and have been very pleased with them, plenty of grip but can be made to slip/slid when wanted, never lost grip when not expecting it.

No, not Proxes - they are CF1's not T1-R/S. BIG difference.

The best tyre there is probably the Hydragrip.

SP Sport depends on which one it is - there are good ones and dire ones.

The sports would be SP Sport 01

Looking on blackcircles they have all the tyres on there plus a few more and the GT-2 and Hydragrip are the only ones (in my list) that have 5 stars

What would be the difference between them as they are same manufacturer?

Im confused now, I just wanted to look on kwik fits website to see prices and they say i should have 195/65/15 but I have 205/65/15. How would i find out for definite as the smaller 195 is £10 cheaper for roughly same tyre and then I can get NCT5's which i've always liked

Either size will most likely be fine, you'll just end up with a marginally narrower tyre, with a slightly different height sidewall. Doubt you'd notice the difference tbh.

Stay away from the P6ks tbh.. I had a lot of bad experience with them on the front of the Mini, they were dire in bad weather.

The P6000s are awful in the wet. The limit of adhesion is very low and they can break away suddenly and without much warning.

The CF1s are only average in the dry, and disappointing in the wet. Straight line braking is also poor in my experience. I remembering being on fairly slippery blacktop after it had been raining (the sun was out) and I braked late to do a 90 degree right turn, and the car just understeered on, putting me at a 45degree turn in. Just managed to stop in time before mounting the grass verge. This is NOT the same tyre at the T1-R which is vastly superior.

Vredestein Ultrcas are worth a look too.

You won't find them in 195s. He also seems to be running non-standard tyre sizes. I mean 205/65/15? WTF?

No they seem to be standard for the car?

i've always liked proxes t1-r's, mainly because I stretch my tyres and the soft side walls are great for that. They grip well although can be a bit dodgy in the wet sometimes and the wear is pretty good for a cheaper tyre like the t1-r
