friends 0 ignore list 0

Anyone who uses an ignore list is stupid. I'd rather read a post by an idiot with conviction in his thoughts than a genius regurgitating facts atleast the former gives you something to think about, even if they are wrong

the world would suck if no one ever challenged your thoughts/beliefs, no matter how irritating it is.

A lot of us are here a long time, few remember the Ocuk site nuke !!

I have a few in my friends list for the same reasons as Roughneck I liked the way they thought, worked things out and were willing to help others.

What are the buddy/ignore lists? [edit lists]
The buddy list is used to keep track of the friends you have made on this board. By going to your "My vB Home", you'll be able to see which of your friends are currently online. Ignore lists are used for those people who's messages you wish not to read. By adding someone to your ignore list, those messages posted by these individuals will be hidden when you read a thread.

I came to the conclusion that the main reason for ignore lists was that you could bombastically announce when someone was added to it.
