I have no idea why he is doing a Woolies advert but I think it's great nonetheless, at least he makes the advert good.
Have to agree with that; shame it took him so long to break America and that all his films are now trash movies.

He subsequently spent a few years in Canberra, and has Australian citizenship. So yes, he's an Aussie.
Edited to correct myself: just thumbed through his autobiography again; he was about 19 when he moved to Australia (his parents moved first; he followed them later from Hong Kong, where he was still living and training at a Chinese opera academy).
Following the recent death of his father, he donated a new science centre to the Australian National University.

IIRC, he didnt spend long in Austrailia.

You've just ruined Mr Chan for me, I know everyone has to have a flaw but to discover he also has Australian nationality, the poor sap.
A taxi driver who was taking me home from work a few weeks ago had just picked someone up from this shoot with Jackie Chan. From what the guy told the taxi driver, they only had Jackie for a few hours, as he was flying back home and they actually wanted to do more with him, but there is no way they could make such a big name actor stay any longer for their commercial.
Still quite random that he did it in the first place.
