I still haven't completed the first one. :/ Started it twice and stopped both times after the airport mission, its simply too good to finish!

It said 1944 didn't it? just before the end of WW2...

The first thing gamers would want to know is that Mafia will not be a direct sequel to the first game. In fact, there won't have any connection with the first game at all. The story will begin shortly before the end of World War II.

Thats what I've read in the other thread about it.

It was aimed at being more realistic then GTA, still could attract the same players, but in my opinion one of the best PC games ever made. Would be great if it was just PC and not a port, but consoles allows for a bigger profit margin :/

Graphics seem better than GTA 4 but its gameplay thats important imo, would be a change to have something that rivals a GTA 4 and also beats it though, looking forward to playing this.
