Ahahaha sure thing. Because if I was a police officer and was told I had to stay on I would flip off my superior and go home. What's the point in policing a world that's about to end?

What would I do? Well in the off chance no chick would sleep with me, I would have a good tug... many a times...

no, they wouldn't. society WOULD collapse as everyone knows they would die. everything would become completely irrelevant.

Yeah but we take a guess and say we will each live for 80 years and we try to make the most out of it. Knowing everyone is going to die at the same time is the difference. Human existence gone... and all life and past life is irrelevant.
 
Steal me a Bugatti Veyron or some other sought after supercar and then drive to the other end of the country with a few cases of fine wine and park up and get ready to watch the show.
 
I would buy (steal if necissary) all the food, supplies necissary to survive during an and after the hit, aswell as weapons, rifles and ammo. As much of everything I could get or fit in my suv plus a trailer, as well as some other people. I'd head out into the hills and and start diging into the most sheltered spot I could find, hopefully it wouldnt hit too close by. Hopefully survive the hit, and then survive the aftermath.


I wouldnt just lie down and die.

The world would be a very strange place afterwards. I'm not sure I'd want to survive...
 
Have heard if one does hit it will not be like the films where it is visible it will be over in a very fast very big flash

really doubt we would get any warning from the government cant help but think they would save there own necks first mass panic would not help them do that

only hope of a warning is you are far enough away from the impact zone and have time to react before the after effects reach you
 
Judging by the size os a comet it would make a big dent in earth no? destroying everything on the planet no? I think I'd just rather get it over and done with, gun to the head.
 
I was thinking about this the other day!

I'd jump in the car and get to what shops I could to fill the boot up with tinned food and bottled water etc, and put some warm clothes, torches, batteries, wind up radio, all that rubbish - then I'd pick my girlfriend up and go to work where we'd set up base in the Armoury (strongest place I can think of off the top of my head).

On the fun side, I would also get my rig and B.A.S.E off something high, just one last jump... probably while the Misses was setting up camp :)
 
The odd thing is, I bet something like this will happen eventually and it will also be followed by some form of extra terrestrial threat.

In any case, I'd probably be looking forward to it. I mean, it will be a miserable time, but misery loves company and there will be plenty of it. :D
