X-Type 3.0 V6 Sport (with the BBS alloys) Manual, 77,000, 52 plate, FJSH, new brakes, belt done, new tyres, MOT'd, full leather, lots of extras with original purchase receipt, no sat nav though, all round condition immaculate.

£3900.

Seems a silly question really but I await confirmation this is a bargain......

It seems a very good deal to me. The 3.0 is the engine to go for as economy is similar to the 2.5. Some of the earlier models were a little sparse on kit though.

So a 3.0 with extras, FJSH, new brakes and tyres and belt and MOT? That's a cracking deal.

But bear in mind the prices of these have plummeted recently. A combination of the V6's falling into the £400 tax bracket and rising fuel costs have really hurt the value of the petrol models. Likely to be someone who's had it on the market for a while and is fed up of it taking an age to sell. £3900 is still way less than its worth though.

If its truly in great condition and as good as it sounds, then around £5.5k-£6k would've been right. But with the current price drop, i'd say 5k is more like it. At 3.9k thats a bargain.

He's bringing it round tomorrow so I'll grab some then.

4WD, sport suspension etc and 230bhp. No doubt it'll drink like Sue-Ellen but you can't win em all.

The car is a 52 plate, you don't pay £400 to tax it, it will cost £210 max.
