Just looked at the previous meetings between the semifinalists and Chelsea and Liverpool have played 6 times with Liverpool winning two and Chelsea winning one. A total of 3 goals have been scored

United and Barcelona have met 7 times and both have won twice. A total of 28 goals have been scored with Barcelona scoring 15 and United 13.

Wonder which game will be more exciting to watch?

Bookings dont carry over to next season do they - I seem to recall that happening a while back (a booking in the final making the player illegibal to play the 1st game in the group stage next season)

Im sure Evra is getting worse at his defensive duties - he is great bombing down the wing but he leaves a gigantic hole behind him which Bentley and....Downing to some extent made use of in the last few games (hopefully he remembers he's playing against Messi and is a little more cautious on Wednesday)

Yep, his defensive work has gone back to what it was a year ago. He should have picked up Santa Cruz yesterday too, instead he stood off him and SC scored.

I'm a bit worried about the Barcelona game - I remember the 4-0 hiding back in the nineties.

Admittedly we're a completely different team now but the ability to put in a shocking performance still seems to stick with us.

It's going to depend totally on what team turns up. If the team against Roma last year does, we'll win two or three nil. If the team from Saturday does, we'll be lucky to get a draw.

We might put in a shocking performance but we're a really resolute outfit these days, I have faith in us limiting Barca's chances regardless of how badly we play.

The 4-0 mauling has no bearing on the upcoming game at all. That United side (and specifically the side that took to the field on the night) wasn't fit to lace the boots of such a great Barcelona side.

Imo Barca have slightly more going forward but Utd are far better defensively.

Not looking forward to tuesday at all. If drogba is on form he could cause us big problems as both carragher and hyypia have been made mugs by him in the past. We have to score as I can't see us scoring at the bridge.

A manu liverpool final would be my worst nightmare. Dont think I could watch it to be honest. I would go as far as to say if man u beat us I might even give up watching football! 1996 hurt bad enough but this would be unbearable.

I've got enough credits on my season ticket and fan card for two final tickets, but with packages to moscow being both ridiculously priced and right in the middle of a really big busy week for me at work I won't be getting any. I don't agree with buying them and selling them on for profit so I'd rather someone who will actually be going have them.

Youstolemyname would you consider going with me? Get 2 tickets and i pay for your flights and hotel? Would be my only chance of seeing a final to do it that way as i only get to see very few live games due to work commitments.

I guess the odds are shortening that they decide to finally click when they face us (after all they havent been playing well for some time even before messi was injured)
