I was playing earlier with the nick "ocuk megatron"! I played the earlier free version and it doesn't seem to have changed much. I remember there was a big who-ha about the game copy protection that it used, was called "starforce" IIRC.

Well ive got Trackmania United retail with "Forever" addon, and ive got well over 20 buddys added to my list.
Free version must be limited

I've gone back to my United username so I can join the OcUK group.

So please remove "peterwiv" from your list as I won't be using that anymore and add "ocuk-duke"

YEah it used to use starforce on both the retail versions and nations for some reason. But now this has been removed from all. The retail of TMU no longer includes StarForce.

I have an issue with the car sound - seems barely audible but the music is coming through clearly??

Move your mouse to the top right of the screen.. a bar should come down giving you two sound sliders. One is for music and one is for sound effects.

Yes PJHUK, I saw you but didnt realise u were from OcUK forums, I've only got 16 buddy slots; might add u instead of another if I see u again.

I think u can choose a server based on location, so I chose a London server, not sure how to search for buddies.

Basically when you're looking at leaderboards you can click on the arrows to choose which group you want to look at and compare scores with the group, download their replays etc. If it hasn't changed since TMU then there's not much more to it. Admin can also post news which pops up when you log in iirc.
