Amusing Logo Issue

The Imperial one is rubbish, no one really liked it, and was a colossal waste of money. They went through an enormous re-branding exercise which must have cost a fortune!

Im not disliking the logo, it does look much smarter, but its the cost that gets me!
 
Personally I don't think theres ever been a better logo than:

Logos should be kept simple and easy to recognise. That's why the best corporate branding firms get paid so much - they're not simply designing a few graphics here and there, they're trying to convey a company's image and aim with a few simple shapes. The logos may not be iconic, but they satisfy the client and that's all that matters.

The 0 looks like Lisa Simpson's hair shape, the 2 below looks quite similar to someone kneeling down with arm infront; due to the above shape being a head.

On the left the 2 and 1 look quite similar to the shape of a human, by having trousers/legs straight at the bottom and a torso without head at the top, but what is the thing sticking out at the side? Oh wait, it could look like a peni...oh my...revelation!

That's probably how.
