New Offspring album set for release!

Really looking forward to it.. it's a shame they're not doing any more dates apart from Download either.. i'd love to go and see them again... saw them at the Manchester Apollo a few years back, they were absolutley epic :D
 
Excellent news, one of my all time favourite bands. I like every album for one reason or another, probably Ixnay just edging my favourite.
I'm looking forward to this. And yes, i even liked Splinter.
 
How the hell did I miss this? I was trawling sites as recently as last week for news... :(

I'm soooo excited, I've always loved Offspring, Smash was the first album I bought. First concert I ever went to was Wembley 2001 was well, loved it :D
Pity their dates are so crummy, no offspring only gigs... Reckon they might add some on? If they don't, and time allows, I'll be in Madrid on the 30th of May to see them.

They 'have' to have a tour on the back of the album. Just need to pray there's some UK dates, or the cost of the flights might be a pain. ;)
 
Last time i saw them was like 4-5 years ago at wembly arena, loved every second of it! really looking forward to the new album
 
i'll buy it, they were the first band i really got into. Was a little disappointed with splinter, but wasnt terrible IMO. Dont they have a different drummer again now?
 
Yeh Freese has took care of the drumming for the album, won't be joining them on stage i don't think.

I don't mind at all that the're not aiming for another Smash, Smash belongs where it is. I have to say that i think Conspiracy of One is hugely under-rated, i love the album.

I'd love to hear them play some of the old skool tracks live, like Crossroads, Beheaded, LAPD, Dirty Magic etc, but i doubt they'd bother now.

Bring on the new album!
 
I'm echoing the COO feelings, the only real letdown was Americana, and that was only because of a few songs in any case, which is a pity. COO is one of my three faves
 
That wasn't bad actually, I haven't really liked any of their material since Conspiracy of One. Would still like to see a return to a more Smash like sound.
