Fancy football with little end product, squandering of countless good positions, few players actually willing to shoot at goal, and a distinct lack or urgency even in the final minutes, from a team who are faltering poorly in the league, and won't win anything in Europe.
Henry must be wondering if he ever really left Arsenal.

Lol just incase I did thought I'd wait until the final whistle.
Wenger does me proud sometimes. We got a profit 8 or so years after we bought him and he broke our scoring record.
But Henry reminded me tonight why I was so glad he left in the summer. I totally forgot what the guy was like in his last season and a half for us, and I've just seen misplaced passes, too slow on the ball, no effort to come back from an offside position when crosses etc., are building up and far too casual against fast defenders.
I thought Carrick had a mare, he was very off the pace and slow into most tackles.
I thought Park was brilliant myself.

Absolutely brilliant. What a performance.
I don't think anyone can argue we didn't deserve that tonight. Only Messi looked to be up for it from the opposition, although the Barcelona "passing carousel" was in full flow for large parts of the game, without making much inroads into our defence.

Brown for me. Tevez worked his socks off but the real pressure was the centre of defense and Brown really stood up and was counted.
Barca gave a good show of themselves given how poor they have been over the last few months. When they started to put in high balls to Henry i knew it was over!!
Park was good, Carrick was great tonight, he did a Makele job but could ping the ball about as well

LOL i can recall Messi tackling Ronaldo more than the other way round
He can tackle him all he wants, when we needed Ronaldo to be an old school left back and fight for the team in the last few minutes of a CLSF he was there

I think this will also help Man Utd win the league - even if it should have been easier than just on GD

Henry's header was probably the most dangerous position, followed by the narrow miss by Deco - easily balanced by our chances , especially the ones in the first half
Marginally prefer Liverpool tomorrow - only countered by the fact it would be "easier" to take IF Utd have to be beaten by Chelsea

it's cruel watching his talents being wasted in that current side.
it's amazing, utd haven't impressed me at all in the last month but still have the league at their taking and in the eurpoean final......typical of utd i guess.
I want Liverpool, if we lose i'll just get my account suspended on here until we resume normal service against them in the league

I wonder whether the final will still be held in Moscow if Liverpool get through. It was heavily reported that Uefa and the FA were seriously considering moving the game to Wembley last year had Utd got through.
A final between Liverpool and Utd in Moscow has the potential to be hell. It's one thing the level of rivalry between Liverpool and Utd but through in ~30,000 neutral tickets on the black market with Russian police and Russian hooligans, who are possibly the worst in Europe and i can't see anything other than trouble.
