Anyone got one as I'm looking at getting one, but just a few variations that have got me baffled.

I have an automatic (kinetic) watch already at the moment so would prob go down that route again

one of these? looks nice.

The same watch is available in 2 sizes, and 2 movements, so 4 total and probably there are some strap variations on each too.

Only one of those is the 2220.80.00, and that's the 41mm automatic on stainless steel bracelet.

hmm, dont like it, im really fussy when it comes to watches or anything really.

i have one of these looks very like it but cost 10 dowa from the big apple and even then im not too keen on it

I would go with the black face version of that watch for a couple of reasons. Firstly I think the blue is far to common and secondly the black is more classy and will still appeal years down the line.

EDIT: Ignore me I didn't realise you were looking at the newer co-axial version. At present there isn't a black face alternative

The co-axial movement should need less servicing as well, on average every 8 years for a strip and lubrication service. If serviced well the watch should last longer than you. I have a quartz version of the watch on my wrist today, I think they are a timeless, iconic watch.

I own the 2531.80.00, its no longer available to buy new, but you can pick them up second hand for about £600.

They are non-co axial movements, which many people prefer to the new ones. They also have a cleaner face.

They will be the classic in years to come, and I would buy nothing else, especially given how much you save...

just buy a decent knock off with a swiss movement, it will look 99.9% the same and behave in exactly the same way, heck, it will even come with a decent box if you want it to, it will only lack decent waterproofing like the original.

It will also cost £200 rather than £1500 or so.

Already got a Sekio titanium kinetc which i've had for 10 years and fancy a new one. Although I do love my Sekio

What's the point though, might as well buy a similar looking Vostok or Tissot than bother buying something that is trying to be something it isn't.
