so far the difference in sound is awesome, makes songs i really enjoy a bit more delightable :)

Congrats on your new purchase... you might want to make your next one a doorstop, perhaps...? ;)

Well, whaddaya know? 'delightable' is also a word...

yer i need some sort of doorstop but at the moment my speakers are further back than my stand :) so it takes the brunt of it :p

if you think they sound good now wait until you get them into a big enough room to actually breathe :D

QF.TTTT

I love the look of mordaunt speakers, soo sexy, they just deserve a hot bikini clad lady to be rubbing them up and down provocatively :D

But agreed the room is soo thing, those speakers will sound far far better in a bigger room, setup frther apart for a better soundstage.

Congrats and enjoy :)

Nice speakers, but damn man thaose are FAR too big for the size of that room. Personaly opinion here but think the bookshelf versions on good stands might actually sound better in a small space.

the room does open up further back, i bought them because hopefully i will be moving in to my own house soon, so theses will be in the games room :)

They look great, glad to hear they sound good too (which is what's most important really). :)

Also, floorstanders > bookshelfs no matter what your room size IMO. There's so much more that can be done with a larger volume cabinet when designing a speaker...

how many people build their own speakers lol:p

bookshelfs are almost always better in a smaller room. infact my little missions are more capable in my living room than they were in my old bedroom. its the first time ive been able to say i can run the entire system without any eq. its lovely lol

So sexy, yet so expensive for the little quality they are.

I managed to pick up some MINT TDL RTL2's the other day for £62!

Guess I'm the only one who things all the ms speakers are ugly as hell.... good quality, though.

how do they sound are they ported? do you need a sub or do they give enough bass as it is?

yer they ported, they sound very nice, at the moment i would say i dont need a sub, they handle the bass alright as they are, how ever i will be getting a sub next month most probs :)

why you think they ugly ? :( :p

Nice setup, terrible room! You need to stop spending money on gadgets and get out of the folks place asap those speakers are totally wasted in that space for to close to the corners of the room to sound a patch on what they could!

Aye... Wales in general sucks for new people to the market.

Was tough round here looking for the first few places to rent.

Real nice setup though, what is the sound like?

I'm looking at the bookshelf models at the moment to go with my new setup :)
