Are you on 12, 18, or 24 month?

I've never been on contract before - how do upgrades work? I was under the impression they can only be made at the end of your current term, is this true?

If it's okay with you, it might be worth adding me to MSN to sort this out Knip, you seem to know what you're talking about! Email in trust. :)
 
I'm going to bring this back to the top as it's appeared on Orange's site (in black) under "Coming Soon".

Just been into the shop today for my obligatory check to see if it's in stock - it's not, but it's due "any day now". :D

Gonna get myself a black version I think. :cool:

Yeah it's on Orange. Mileage may vary as I had to really wheeler-deal to get what I did.

It started out on £40/month (Dolphin 40), then I got them to add the data in free (said I had been a PAYG customer for x years blah blah, didn't it count for anything?), and then got them down to £34 with the trade in on my current phone.

I still wasn't totally happy (currently spend £20-£25 per month, didn't want to go too far above that) and they were stalling, so I walked away, saying i'd "give it some thought".

Half an hour later, I get the manageress calling me, telling me they would do it for £30 per month.

Make sure they have your current number, then if you're not 100% happy walk away. Tell them what I did - that you're going to give it some thought. If they don't call back, you've lost nothing. I think it helped that they knew how much I wanted the N82 - I was in there every couple of days asking if it was in stock.

Marie (Knip) was also a godsend, she's got some really good tips on getting the best deal you can out of them.

Oh, and i'm just about to take some pics. :D

It is £8 per month, FUP states i'm allowed around 3GB. I just managed to get them to add it on for free, as above. :)

It took me ages to find that too when I was looking..

God knows why they hide it so well.. their site is absolutely appauling!

I tried to add a thing to the basket to see costs, and it doesn't have an option, so I guess you must add them retrospectively.
The 30mb is global I think.

I think I might pop into O2 shop after exams and try get >500mins + texts, unlimited data and white N82 for 30-35 on an 18month; I'm not a fan of the black one's looks really.
 
Phone looks good I should get mine on Monday hopefully :) ,600 mins unlimited texts for £25 pm + a free phone not to bad.Does it come with a 2gb mem card?
 
N82 dropped by O2 apparently? Whats going on!
Really want the N82 Black but dont want to go with Orange - bah :(

They still have them in O2 shops, but not online or phoneing up for upgrades :(.
I was after one last week, would only do it free on 24 month contract or £35 per month (18 month) tariff.

Mines on a 30 quid a month 18month contract with a web bolt on so I end up paying about 35 quid after everythings added on.
Tell some fibs, get the right person on the phone and you will eventually get the deal you want - honest.
