omega seamaster 2220.80.00

Their service is great and all watches I have bought from them were spot on, they are a bit pricey though

I've got a mate who knows a mate who is in the trade and he's going to see what he can come up with.

But at the end of the day I'd rather pay for good service etc.

Titanium is a poor material for a watch, the light weight makes them feel cheap and they scratch extremely easily

I'd disagree there. I own an titanium Omega Speedmaster X-33 (the phase 2 model) and have worn it daily for over 2 years, doing fairly rugged stuff. It hardly has a scratch on it. Before that I owned a Breitling Avenger Seawolf which was also titanium, I wore it everywhere including scuba diving, and it hardly got scratched at all.

Contrast that with the Omega Speedmaster moon watch I owned, the SS was so soft it scratched on almost anything it touched. I ended up selling it as it was starting to look like it had been dragged down the road behind a car, and that was just sitting wearing it in an office.

My GF's SS Tag is also picking up lots of scratches, she only wears it maybe 3 days a week, and I only bought it about 2 months ago!

I agree

I have a Panerai 25 and a Chrono Avenger both a Ti and neither are scratched, my SMP is brushed SS and shows marks far more that the 2 TI watches.

Ti is also better from a skin allegy point of view and its warmer

All in all I would say titanium is a better material to match watches from

Yup. I'll agree he's right about the weight though, if you're used to a watch being 'heavy' and 'solid' than a titanium watch will feel like a cheap Casio when you put it on.

I've gotten used to the weight now though, IMO titanium is the perfect material to make a watch from.
