Game Trailers - Accusations

Looks like its been taken down as its been edited wrongly. Can't see them swaying in bias towards the 360 when they are showing the crashes from different viewpoints.
 
This "bias" goes back a long way on GT, from only using component on the PS3 as it would be unfair as the 360 at the time not having an HDMI port, then only using the 360 on HDMI and the PS3 on component lol, to not changing the settings on the PS3 when they do use HDMI for things such as full RGB. l. They do not adjust settings on the screen for each console so will always look different as each console's output is different. Im sure theres been a few convos on here about having to change settings on HD TVs for each console. Something must be a bit fishy when they dont come out with an explanation straight away and any posts asking about it are deleted, but all this comparrison stuff is to generate hits to there sites.

As for the SDF site its actually linked to an xboxfanboy site, i know its all in jest but some people actually belived that stuff!
 
Many people have claimed that GT comparison vids are screwed because GT don't turn RGB Full on on the PS3. I thought these were just fanboy claims in the past, but this video shows GT 'caught red handed' as it were.

I don't think it's an editing mistake as the footage looks like it's from an in-game recorder (ie. they recorded the races using a feature in the game). That means that they have to recreate the crash on both systems. But as you can see from the vid, both pieces of footage were recorded on the PS3 (instead of one on PS3 and one on 360) - this can be no accident, unless they have some kind of dumb intern making the vids.

Who cares? This GT argument gets tiresome now.

People whining about TV settings on the comments of the videos saying the Tv settings are wrong on the PS3 version. When infact TV settings do not matter at all as the consoles are going straight into recording equipment which TV settings probably have no control over.

I suspect it's a sign of just how out of hand the console competition thing gets that no one is quite sure if it's satirical or not.

Supprised it gets away with using "sony" in the url and title if it's run and designed to poke fun at PS3 though tbh.
 
Who cares? Grid sucks anyway, seems they moved away from the 'almost sim' of TOCA and have come up with some arcade racer akin to NFS :(

It isn't poking fun at the PS3, it is poking fun at all gaming sites and blogs out there.
It is very funny and quite clever, but the joke seems to be lost on some.
 
True, but it uses the PS3 as a vehicle for that and Sony, like most brands, seem notoriously protective of anything that could highlight their brand in a bad way. Even if it's only to people that "don't get it".
