The Huntelaar and Berbatov stories are doing the rounds again. Can't say I've seen Huntelaar play but he's supposedly like Van Nistlerooy.

I'd hazard a guess that if the Netherlands to well in Euro 2008 that Huntelaar's price tag might go up a fair bit...

He look good in the African Cup of Nations, but I'm not 100% sure he's someone we could rely on constantly.

But I've only seen him in the ACON so we'll wait and see. I'd still rather sell Saha and bag someone his of Huntelaar or Berbatov's quality anyway :)
 
I'd take any striker right now.
Its remarkable we have won the league when for perhaps around 50% of games we haven't had a striker on the bench and perhaps even on the pitch (given that tevez/rooney play so deep).
I think it was very risky of SAF not to buy one in january and he's gotten lucky.
He couldn't have been relying on ronaldo to break the 40 mark.

As long as you support your team each week it doesn't matter if you write them off. Doesn't make you a better fan because you're optimistic (I mean 'you' in the general sense as well, not you Nokkon :p)
 
man utd just need to get themselves an afonso alves to replace saha and they'll be complete going forward
 
For anyone interested, MUTV is free-to-air at the moment and its the player awards dinner. Players all there, Ronaldo came off the bus screaming at the fans and Tevez ran off the bus and held up the trophy :p

I missed the match cos I was coming back from home to uni :(
No tv in halls means I couldn't even see the celebration or MOTD tonight.
Owel probs buy the dvd (if there is one).
I'm so happy about us winning the Premiership, have been nervous since we lost to Chelsea, happy we won though. We just need to perform in Moscow and it be a great season.

Gratz to UTD and all that, they deserved to win the title. However looking forward to Moscow they should be very worried about Chelsea, as UTD looked VERY poor under any sort of cross.
