MS announce new hardware peripheral tomorrow

I can just imagine on live..

That happens now doesn't it?

I reckon its more likely to be something terrible, like another controller add on that makes it motion sensetive or shouts at you when you die.
 
I know 'lips' makes it sound like voice activation, but don't they basically have this with the headset already?

What useful voice 'features' require a new peripheral?
 
To be honest mine shuts down on voice control already.. The missus says "turn that rubbish off, corrie is on" and it magically shuts down.
 
Its a voice/speaker usb module for the blind. They don't have the pleasure of seeing the red lights of death. So when theirs is borked they get a nice indian guy telling them they have the red lights and the number to phone.
 
Ive got an idea what this lips thing could be, going on the sucess of rockband and guitar hero, its a new franchise game... Recorder Hero. The lips thing is a wireless interface shape like a tube with 8 buttons on so you can paly awesome tunes like Hot cross buns and three blind mice! :D
