Ive just today got a phone call of the company saying I have the job :D Its only a works experiance placement but I still need somewhere to live and stuff...

Can anyone give me some advice about accommodation? or just general tips you can give? Im just a dirty little student and dont have a clue about this sorta thing...

Thanks everyone! :D

London is Mahoosive. Knowing where you're going to be working might be a good pointer - if you're working near Greenwich you probably don't want to be living out near Heathrow, for example.

Walk with you eyes pointed forward/downward and don't stare at anyone :p

Should be plenty of places in surbiton or surrounding areas to rent.
house share is cheap (compared to renting a flat or house)

might be cheaper to rent a little more southern and bus or train it to work

Surbiton is practically out in the countryside. It's relatively cheap round there, should be able to find a room in a house share for £400-500 per month. :)

Surbiton, eh. That's not really what I would call London. Nice place though. I know someone who used to live there and remember visiting him many times.

Do you have a car? Surrey doesn't have all the transport links that London has, so you can't rely on buses and tubes for travel.

the buses around surbiton are very good! its very close to kingston aswell which again has very good transport links.

if you want to get into london, you can get the train from surbiton to waterloo which takes around 15minutes.

i lived in surbiton during halls last year, i stay in teddington now.
