agree with you there andy, but HYC is what got me into DnB
so kinda sad they moved from it

but then again, now there crap :D
 
Its still nothing more than average tbh, i think HYC just set the bar to high.
Hopefully its a 'transitional' album and their next one will be absolute killer.

For what its worth, i enjoy the album a LOT more now i have ripped the CD to FLAC, the mp3's really ruined the recordings tbh.
 
Just aquired In Silico this morning ;)

Must say.. I prefer some of their music off the older albums,Hold your colour, Voodoo People, Blood Sugar, Slam, Tarantula.. however Propane Nightmares and Granite are absolute tunes

Hopefully their next album will be more like the songs above..

Bah, I wasn't too keen TBH, ok it sounds a little different but it still doesn't bring anything new to the table...

I'll stick to my dodgy noisey breakcore thank you very much. :D
 
I loooooove "Other Side". Such a funky tune. The vocals in it remind me of another song (not the talkbox vocals).
 
Best songs are all played > HERE As I've already posted in the thread lol.. Radio 1's Big weekend live performance.. 21mins long, Their version of Voodoo people live is the best I've ever heard but can't find it anywhere to download :(

They need to ditch the MC. Don't have a clue why he's there. The band members should be able to get the crowd going or maybe the lead singer could open his eyes once a while.
 
mmm I quite liked it. Few songs sounded very similar to previous work though. One of them I kept expecting the song to burst into blood sugar. Have to admit I love Aternative Rock, and a lot of diffrent Metal but I have a real soft spot for some electronic stuff too. Think this is why I quite enjoy this album. Although if I was really into dnb in a huge way I would be pretty dissapointed with it.
 
It's crap with respect to drum and bass. An album which will find its way on to the iPod of a 13 year old girl.

If you look at it for what it is, it's not as bad as people are making it out to be. I'm still not really a fan though, any self respecting drum and bass fan should stay well clear.
