Asus, just because it takes 4 years to load the website

god i forgot about that, every time i go on i'm still suprised how bad it is.

Anything made by Thermaltack. eurgh. talkabout blingy!

thermaltake are very solid imo, closed case so i dont have to look at it but still 750w psu that never seems to have any issues *touch wood*

Hard drives -seagate maxtor samsung < had bad ones from all 3 noisy clicky failing never had issues with western digital

Graphics - asus evga Pov - unreliability and evga dont like the way they dont tell you you must register within 30 days or you get no warranty + outside usa is only 10 years when on the box claims lifetime don't like companys that mislead

Moherboards - asus msi <dodgy rushed bios bad support

Headphones - sennheiser < overrated better sounding cans out there for the same cost in each of their brackets

Q-tec are evil!
Asus, ill never live down the an8-sli decidint nothing on the southbridge worked
Saphire, coolers always always heat up the card....

I shall be avoiding ASUS since they started soldering BIOS chips on the motherboard.
I shall also avoid Creative for the lack of driver support, and the inability to answer any questions on their forum and the poor lack of support in general.
Not to mention the way they treated Daniel_K.

I would like to avoid Microsoft, but I'm not clever enough to get everything I want to use working on linux and the schools already have my kids hooked.

Micro$oft, for a million good reasons.

Western Digial and Seagate, last time I worked in a geekshop, we got a batch of each with 50%+ return rates, and some of the most heartbreaking noises I've ever heard from a disc.

Packard Bell, OMG! mate had a PB monitor with speakers once....the speakers, which were designed and fitted to the monitor by PB, gaused the screen to the point of unusability, and when the modem in same machine refused to work, we opened the case to find it was in at am angle with only half the edge connector making contact.

Not really PC, but hi-tech...Yamaha pro-audio gear, though often very good, gives me ulcers. OS's are insane and manuals make "all your base are belong to us" seem like The Bard.

Hiper! for their shocking PSU's

q-tec for cheap and nasty beige computer parts

HP & Dell for just being just overall shocking (except HP printers)

fujitsu for creating terrible HD's and agreeing to supply parts to that now liquidated company that was gateway! :D

Edit:

and this will hit a nerve but........... NVIDIA

They do make the best graphics cards, but they don't half penny pinch, create confusing product names and generally provide shocking drivers for the first few months after product launch!

(that said, they still provide the best graphics)
