Looks like it's working now though it looks like something went a bit wrong with the first WU it tried to process - could have just been teething troubles if you've had to restart the client a few times.

Where it says to use IE settings you should probably have that set to No, though it does seem to have connected after a few tries so maybe not such a problem.
 
It can take a little while for them to stop.


Tho I'm not really the best person to ask about WinSMP. Myself and it aren't really on speaking terms. I've tried to be nice to it, but it just flips me the bird and danders off into the sunset.

I haven't seen that option before. Doesn't sound right for the short deadline units of WinSMP.

And why is it installed to C:\Windows ? Best installing it to your User directory eg C:\Users\Davy\FAH

i didn't know that i will uninstall and install again...

why is it when i restart, the service does not work, i have to satart [email protected] and then it will work

I don't bother with the service - I run the exe and use a program called winboss classic to hide the console window so it doesn't clutter up the place or get closed by mistake.


As for the deadlineless work and minimised networking those options are left over from days gone by - both need to be set to no or you'll get no work :o (wish they'd just disable those settings or ignore them or something)
