Yea i agree. At first its like cool the buildings blow up, but after awhile, they are just set parts that blow up and look the same each time.
Played it for about 2 hours and stopped.

They have dedicated servers but whats the point when ea close them in a few years? Does the game let you host your own server?
I think xbox live games should do that more often. Have dedicated servers and p2p servers. So when the dedicated servers are taken down people are still able to play online. Wouldnt cost lots and people would still buy the game.
Frontline on 360 had dedicated servers.

I can't imagine Warhawk without dedicated servers, it would feel wrong!
Now if only Sony had included half decent headsets with the PS3 rather than everyone using different quality Bluetooth headsets (some people sound ****) PSN would be in a position to be a real rival to XBL.

That sucks how sony have dedicated servers on a free online service where ms dont. Is there any reason why my 40 quid a year isnt used to improve the servers?
Because Bill loves charity. Personally i think MS should open up their market so the usual suspects can host dedicated servers and sell them off. MS taking a fee obviously

Suprised sony didnt include a 99p headset like with the 360. It does annoy me when they do stuff like that, cause it would clearly improve online expirence.
And ms has stupid drm and file size limits when most people who dont have hard drive use it offline!!!
Drm must **** people off, cant use it when not signed into live if on differernt console to which it was downloaded on. People who jump through hoops to give them money shouldnt be punished.

You mean Modern Combat? BF2 is much better than Bad Company and are also nothing alike.
what's to rant? just get the licenses swapped over?

Its the way they designed it so its difficult for people, having to ring up make new account add all friends again just to swap licenses, its easy for people like you who know about it, heck most of my friends wouldnt know what to do. It shouldnt have to be done, it should be simple and easy. I can understand they want to prevent piracy but its making it awkward for the 99% who dont pirate. Its not fair on those who dont, being treated like potential pirates.
They should have used similar model as the ipod, download onto as many xbox's with the account it was bought with. So content should be transferable and playable on any 360 just like the profile. Therefore it can be played online or offline.
I know apple drm aint foolproof but it will stop even more people pirating than if they didnt have it. Only the minority of itunes users know how to break the drm on itunes bought content, bet even less actually pirate as they have bought the song from their own money. What im saying is if they used less restrictive drm it would be more benefical to the end user. Maybe piracy would incresae a bit but it would stop all the faffing about swapping licenses.

The demo will be available on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store this coming June 5th.
Players who pre-ordered their copy of Battlefield: Bad Company will be able to gain early access to the demo on May 29th
Eh? All I did was ring up and ask and it was done in a couple of minutes. Nothing to be done other than the dialling the phone.
