I know this has been mentioned before, but the releases schedule for PC games is looking very lacklustre. What is going on here? It appears developers are concetrating efforts solely on the consoles at present when you look at the console release schedule.

I enjoy gaming on the PS3 and Wii every know and then, but I also enjoy PC gaming offering technologically superior titles (translation: better graphics), and the currently unrivalled mouse + keyboard interface for FPS and RTS games.

Anyone else feel the drought?

autumns looking up.

ps3 does kb and mouse too.

in the last year we have had
Crysis, Bioshock, Cod4

we will have
brothers in arms 3, fallout 3, far cry 2 and gta4

these are just a few big releases, how many top titles has the ps3 had?

Not forgetting GRID, Flatout Ultimate Carnage, Spore, Mercenaries 2, Tom Clancys EndWar and Hawx........

Dying??? Meh, its just having a snooze in the sunshine:)

I hear you Dyson, are you an exclusive console gamer?

that makes no sense :/

Unless you buy and play every pc game as it comes out then there are loads of great ones to pick and choose from while you wait for the next development cycle to finish.

Its a summer drought for all platforms at the moment, since GTA4 there hasnt been anything released for PS3 or 360, but what do we get next week for pc? Age of Conan!

Score 1-0 for PC in May :)

Not sure if you did mate:D PC all the way for me, just don't see any sort of problem with games on the PC. I've got more than enough to keep me busy, with more on the way.

It's not snoozing it's off in the shed tinkering with a new invention !:p

Aye, just UT3 at the moment, you can still use the mouse/keyboard for the web browser though I think.

Shame, doesn't seam like it would be exactly difficult to stick the option into games  I could understand in multi player for balance, but you could just lock the servers to one type etc and a few mixed ones.

I'm referring to future titles (hence mention of release schedule)

Don't really understand where you're coming from. We have Grid coming next week, Conan (if thats your bag) soon, Mass Effect. Just go onto any popular games site and see whats coming soon.

yet again we have another person who has somehow come to the conclusion that if he/she doesn't know about it then it doesn't exist... instead of making pointless threads why not actually just go and look at whats coming out this year and whats in development for the next 2-3 years?

+1:D

Browsing the IGN release schedule today.

Granted there are some games coming out, but where are all the PC exclusive FPS and RTS games that used to dominate the format. I gues that is what I'm missing the most.
