Vista 64 bit SP1

I've just formatted my computer and have re-installed Vista Business 64bit. I've got everything up and running, and have got all the latest updates from windows update. However I've just noticed that I don't have SP1 installed. I've refreshed windows update and it says that my install is up to date. What happened to SP1? :confused:

I had it on my old install before I formatted. Any ideas?

it was refusing to install on some peoples machines who had particular drivers (mostly sound) maybe it has something to do with that?

Mine does the same! Usually appears on Windows update after a few hours!

Just download the service pack direct from the Microsoft website.

I thought of doing that but;

1 - It tells you on their website that you should use windows update
2 - I want to find out what the problem is or it might not work for any other updates

restart your system a few times. i bet you it will show up eventually, i did the same thing as you, installed all the updates and it didnt show, but eventually it will.
