Splinter Cell: Conviction

Its the worse one imo, they removed too much stuff! Red/Amber/Green for detection and no sound indicator! :\

Splinter Cell 1 on the Xbox wins.

Am looking forward to Conviction, just hope they take steps in the right direction because they are taking a different approach.

l wouldn't say it was the worse.. just very different. I hated it at first, but once I stopped trying to play it like the old games I quite liked it.

Think I only stopped playing it because I got addicted to WoW again.

Pandora Tomorrow was one of the best online games ever.

Yeah it was really good at the time, too many exploits in it though xD.

I can't wait for this, I really liked the previous ones and got 1000/1000 in double agent. Though the first few missions inside the base is good, they got boring after about the second one for me. The last mission in the base is awesome though.

I aint a big SC fan, so im guessing you get accused of something in previous games hence why he's now seems to be on the run?

for me it was all about the witty dialouge, i love sam fisher as a character and the banter between him and his bosses, that was my biggest gripe with double agent, there just wasnt any of his dry humour at all! the gameplay wasnt bad but the HQ missions where boring a tedious.

All i want in this next installment is the witty comments over the radio and more of sam fishers personallity but it doesnt look like we are ever going to see that side of him again :(

Ubisoft has dismissed rumours that Splinter Cell Conviction is heading back to the drawing board as speculation.

The publisher was responding to a report in Xbox World 360 magazine that claimed the game was being redesigned because it wasn't groundbreaking enough, and had even been outdated by Ubisoft titles such as Assassin's Creed.

The rumours suggested that Conviction would go back into development and be given a fresh release date of Christmas 2009 - or even spring 2010.

Not so, said Ubsioft, telling Eurogamer the report is "pure speculation".

Guess we will see which side of the story is true in the near future.
