Warhammer Online

It is actually huge, now that I look at it. Going to have to be home for it to be delivered, it'll never go through the letterbox :p
 
Should be a lot of beta invites going out for the next phase of Dwarf vs Greenskin Tier 1-3.

Looking forward to seeing lots of new testers.
 
They will be revealing the final High Elf class in the newsletter at the end of this month.... I'm hoping there will be some beta news or some kind of indication as to when we can expect the NDA to be lifted. Highly unlikely though.
 
I think it will be a little while longer yet before the NDA is lifted, the current phase is going to be quite a long one, several weeks I reckon, and I wouldnt have thought that the NDA would lift mid-phase
 
I just got an invitation to participate in the beta of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, is it worth giving it ago? I dont know if It will be any good sounds crap.

Its free so give it ago. if mmo's arnt your thing then you probably wont enjoy it.

Its an MMO thats based on PvP more than questing, although the game does have quests too, and you can play without having to PvP if you really want to. (no idea why you would want to, but thats a personal taste thing I guess :) )

You can level from start to finish entirely through PvP if you want to, and the game is based on Order v Destruction , which is High Elves + Dwarves + Empire ("good" humans) versus Dark Elves + Greenskins (orcs+goblins) + Chaos ("bad" humans)

You fight for control of the games zones , and the castles and keeps within the zones, as well as some strategic battlefield objectives dotted around the zones, and as you take control of the zones you make your way through the world and if everything is going nicely you will eventually reach an enemy capital city which you can then assault, burn, plunder and loot
