Who would you pick, if you could put 3 or 4 musicians into a band together? :D

I'm not sure for myself so i am going to go have a think and come back to this one ;)
 
vocals - eddie vedder
guitar - roy buchanan / jimmy page
drums - john bonham
bass - flea


I presume you mean living or dead ? otherwise i would have to change the drummer ;)
 
Vocals - Benji (Skindred)
Guitar - Tom Morello (RATM/Audioslave)
Drums - Jason Bowld (Pitchshifter/This Is Menace)


Not sure about bassist, so I'll leave it as a three piece.
 
I think I would have to go for:

Vocals - David Bowie (one of my all time favourites)
Guitar - Matt Bellamy (simply for his random solos!)
Bass - Paul McCartney (Legend)
Drums - Neil Peart (he can do anything with a drum kit)

Drums - Nicko McBrain

Be a freaky band but I'd pay to see them :D

Piano - Monty Alexander
Drums - Ginger Baker

It would be one hell of a blues/jazz band.

Edit: Oh, and Willie Dixon on Double Bass
 
I'd have Knopfler and Gilmour on guitars, Pete Trewavas on bass and Gavin Harrison on drums. And Steve Wilson writing all the songs :p
