Which US state would you live in and why?

Having just been to Washington state, I would live there, I have been to several other states, but so far Washington state was the most impressive, however under the condition that I could live in the shadow of Mt. Ranier or Mt. St. Helens :)

Alaska, far enough away from the rest of them and you can also blow **** up because who is ever going to hear or find out :D

Connecticut. But i lived there for 2.5 years so i'm biased. It's a lovely place, and so is the rest of New England. Very chilled out, nice big houses, huge amount of space, woods, beaches, good weather (proper summers and proper winters) and not far from NY either.

Whats better California or Florida?

Florida is definitely cheaper for houses and the weather is better, not sure about the people though...

Probably somewhere like New York or Los Angeles, (therefore either New York or California) just because of the buzz. I love being in big cities where there are loads of people and loads going on.

My aunty lives in the depths of Wyoming, don't think I'd like to live there permanantly though, maybe for a holiday every now and again :p

yes, full of deadbeats

the tourist areas are great, but i imagine its pretty bad if you wonder into the wrong areas

I had some friends from school visit there and they said it was the most horrible place they've visited, I don't know what part they visited, but I can't imagine that it was the scummy parts.

Oh and it's "wander" when it comes to walking, "wonder" is the one when it's "i was wondering about that". Don't take that in the wrong way, I'm not trying to be a grammar nazi, I'm just trying to help.

so it's mostly the scenery that you guys like?

i'd like to live in a hot state, not a big fan of the cold

Most states get very cold during the winter as they don't have a gulf stream warming them up. They weather isn't temperate like here.

I'd like to live in Washington state too, it's supposed to be a nice area to live in - and straight across a few other states to see my sister in Michigan.
