Humour that irritates you.

People that just humiliate others to have fun with a group of mates

Well, how about "Religious Intolerance", no need to be a pedant.

I believe I fall under the category of "****", when it comes to race.

Got a bit of a chip on your shoulder there my friend.

I see a lot more jokes thrown at Christianity than Islam but perhaps were you live it is different.

If I took offense every time someone called me Jock I'd be depressed and have violent tendencies.

Saw that guy live and he is awful. My friends and I were wondering where that type of humour would play well; it went down like a brick in Brussels.

I don't like that bullying type of humour either, more so when it's directed at someone outside the group.

Sasha Baron Cohen - total output worthy of a five-minute sketch.
Little Britain - not funny and doesn't make me want to laugh at all.

As for the OP, Ricky Gervais in the Office is painful; you hate him and you recognise how awful his behaviour is but you can't help but laugh at it. Basil Fawlty is funny despite how awful his behaviour is.

peepshow, mightboosh, cathrine tate, league of gentlemen or anyother show like that
Haven't seen the Peep Show really but I do quite like the Mitchell and Webb show so I might give that a go. :)

Mighty Boosh - Never understood that at all. What is so funny. Some of Catherine Tate is funny but repeated stuff like the Geordie charity fund raiser is just sickingly awful. Same for League of Gentlemen.

Are you possibly thinking of Omid Djali? He's actually Iranian if memory serves and his TV show is rubbish from what I've watched of it but some of his standup routine isn't too bad.
I'd agree. His standup on the Jack Dee show was classy, his TV stuff isn't brilliant.

Any humour which I find 'cringeworthy'. That isn't to say bad jokes or groaners, as I find them quite amusing in a juvenile way. But specifically idiotic wind ups like idiot DJ's phoning people and getting them to make fools of themselves on air, ditto TV programs of the same vein. I have to switch off :/

Being called a 'jock' is nothing like being called a p***

Being a youth worker I see racism and bigotry all the time from the youngsters and it's very upsetting, it's time the government spent some money on driving out this horrid prejudice!

As a Muslim Pakistani in England I agree wholeheartedly! My cousin, who lives with me and my family, just yesterday was approached by a group of white hoodlums who challenged him to a fight and called him a "p***" he walked away, of course. There isn't enough being done about racism in this country.

I hate cringe-worthy humour - Mr Bean, The Office et al. Awful.

Add in Titty Bang Bang and little Miss Jocelyn, infact most women trying to be funny tbh.

Corrected.

That's not true!!
I know for a fact that myself and my work colleges at the youth club certainly don't tolerate it and on many occasions have had serious words with some of the kids and in the worse cases many of them have been banned from the club for set periods of time!!

The problem is that it's a vicious circle and the majority of the kids that are racist/homophobic are like this because their parents/family are bigoted beyond belief!

Are you completely mental or have you been living under a rock for the last 10 years ???
Have you not heard of the PC brigade ???
I am about prepared to go to War to prevent any more PC BS spreading around my country & you must be Blind to not see that the Government involvement in Racism & the fight against it has only made things Worse.
As a Youth worker you should well know that it is the kids that will eradicate racism, Not the other way round. If you want Proof then go to Ireland.
As our Younger generations grow up & school with other Cultures they accept them without Question & see them as Nothing but Equals. Government rules only exaggerate any minor problems that exist turning them in to Real problems.
If there are children around that are Racist then the Parents are the only ones you can blame & even then it is far better to just pass on how you feel rather than shine a spot light on a youngster & Brand him a Racist. Name calling amongst children will Always happen, Get over it.
God help the kids you work with is all I can say.

O.P.
If I find something Humorous then I laugh & laughing does not irritate me.
To be honest I only came in here to see if anybody had posted "malc30's posts" :p
