Ok So... [21st birthday ideas (rubbish title edited {by Gilly})]

Hey all, me again, I turn 21 on Thursday, and I have nothing planned, my friends expect me to do something, and seem very excited.. so I guessing I should but I just have no idea what to do!

If I am going to do something I want it to be a bit different, than just go out, get drunk, but most of my friends have ran out of money so cant afford anything.

So please OcUK Help me think of something fun, and cheap for my 21st!

I live in a flat, so would have to be more a picnic in a park, but could do, though it will be very costly to me if I do that + not that different...
 
Without money there isnt much your going to be able to do thats "different"...

Only things you can do are whats been suggested

Picnic / BBQ in the park
Picnic / BBQ on the beach
House Party
Camping somewhere

If nobody has money those are a little difficult. :p

Just go out and get everyone to get so drunk they need to get their stomachs pumped, it'd be different, everyone in hospital. :D

To be honest, if you don't care about doing anything, don't. For my 21st I got dragged to the pub by some friends, that was it, as I didn't want to do anything (because I don't care for my birthdays) and they made me go out. :)

Am at pavs, and I dunno, I dont want them giving me an ASBO... or such.... happend before to some friends for just looking out the window and saying hi to someone below:confused:
 
Go to Wilkos, Lidl, Argos or Morrisons and buy approx 250 balloons or ball-pool balls, fill up your room with them. Alongside this get Party Rings biscuits, whack on a stand-up comedy DVD and every time someone wants a party ring they have to have a shot of something too. When you're watching the DVD, every time a certain trait or character of the person is shown, have a shot.

Get a deck of cards, play some games too, if you feel you're up for a night out that your mates are drunk enough to pay for, then go out, if not, then kick the balloons about the flat, and in your drunken state, try let as many of them as possible out into the world/fill up the corridors. Or go to playzone tomorrow night! :p

May not last long, but at least it's a bit of an idea.
 
How much do you think it would cost me to put on a decent house party? I can invite more people, but will probably stick to about 10 of my close friends.
 
I cant help with your plans but here's something I just made it about Elroy Jetson:

It was the summer of 84 and the final Jetson season had just finished filming. He got into a little problem where he owed a little bit of money to the wrong person. This person ended up making him sell his cocaine for him. Elroy turned to taking the drugs himself and stole quite a lot. He had to runaway to Colombia where he got married to a young girl, turns out this young girl was into all this voodoo malarky and when they had a falling out she cast a spell on Elroy which meant he could never leave the country and would be forced to stay with her forever, he tried to escape but when he got to the border he was shot down by the drug dealer he was originally running away from. he was buried in a porpers grave with no one there except a vicar and a local mourner. He died alone and very sad. The other cast of the Jetsons were informed and said they would make a memorial to him at a future reunion, that reunion never happened.

sad story - I think I have a problem making stuff up like this lol
 
I did Thorpe Park with some mates for my bday, with the handy 2 for 1 vouchers Tesco were giving out. They are giving them out again this year, so its well worth it if you can get someone to get you there, or to any other place the vouchers work for.

(did the go out, get drunk, etc etc back at uni aswell mind)
 
Hmm, i've never hosted a party before but if i was going to, on my alcohol to buy list would be...

x3 bottles of Vodka
x3 crates of Strongbow
x3 crates of <insert best seller of beer>
x2 bottles of Apple Sourz
x4 bottles of Coke
x4 bottles of Lemonade

That would be for around 15 people or so but the trick is to ask people to bring alcohol and not reveal exactly what you have provided. :)

If anyone comments, they haven't met how much my friends consume, especially one of my 'larger' friends. :o

agreed. tell people to bring booze, and only put about 1/3 out. At some parties ive hosted I have had more booze at the end of the night than when I started. People bring 24 can crates, dont drink even half, then leave them. :)
