PRobably be very cheap in 2 years time say 4k I suspect for a vgc facelift one. You should have got a 220 instead of that little fez :D

hehe maybe, would have cost a lot more on insurance, and i wanted a car that could be a track day car... not saying the ST220 isnt but...

...enjoying the modding at the mo, trying to get power upto 190ish... :)

Hopefully they wont dip too much further. From looking at ST200 prices, I cant imagine the ST220 dropping below 4k in a couple of years.

They are holding up well, I bought my saloon ST200 for £4k well over a year ago and don't think I'd lose much if I sold it now :).

Maybe a new ST would affect the older models' prices more, but I'm not sure there will ever be a new one.

Thats a 200 though, and a saloon at that they didnt make as many as they did 220's and the saloon only had 300 in this country which has a certain stigma attached to it. I dont expect the values will hold as well of the 220's as of your 200.

Yea but you wont ever need to pay more for a 200 than for a 220.

Thats true but i'm saying I expect the prices of the 220 to drop quicker than the 220. But possibilities of seeing in a few years a saloon 200 cost more than a pre facelift red hatchback.

Are there any belts to change? Aux, cam, etc? What are the servicing intervals like?

Pass on the belts I would have to look that up for you. But it is a chain driven engine, and servicing is every 12500 miles or yearly. major service every 37500 miles.

For the owners. What sort of mpg are you getting? How much does it cost to fill a tank and how many miles do you get out of it?

28 average for everything - 60 quid to fill a tank on normal add another 2 quid or so for premium 315 miles a tank or so. But have got up to 350 when doing longer runs,

Thats surprising good! I was expecting low 20's, but I think I can live quite easily with 28mpg.

Well around town kills it, I dont have much around town luckily mostly a roads and mway. If you're sensible it can be quite economical.

Just been nosing around Autotrader and these things are SERIOUSLY cheap!? I can't even find any high milers, they all seem to have low mileage. I found on example with more than 100k - a 130k mile 02 plate for, wait for it, £4395!!!

Thats so cheap its almost free!
