He's looking to the side, you can even see some of his face + nose on this and this picture.

EDIT: And can you REALLY trust someone who believes that there's pyramids on the moon?

The lens had a really slow shutter speed, so the astronaut face was blurred when he looked or moved his face.
Why would Nasa even want to make this fake. :confused:
 
I also find it kind of ironic that conspiracy theorists always tout their ability to think independently, when they're the ones who are watching propaganda-like videos and instantly believing them :p
 
they had to fake a cgi astronaut to cover up the aliens in the background wearing tinfoil hats

Actually the pic you posted with a bit of a squint has a nose appearance but I'm not sure you would see it like that from the angle you are looking from above

BTW I'm not saying believe me look at this vid its real......its a discusion forum...not a oh believe this because of whatever.

It might be easy (with the suggestive help of a video perhaps) to come to conclusions like this, but once you've decided what you think 'really' happened, look at it from the other side: why the hell would they do that? Why would NASA want to fake this by putting another astronaut in the shot? :confused:

Same goes for every other conspiracy theory out there.
 
How is the person that made that that stupid?

You can clearly see from his videos (and the links to original frames) that the astronaut is looking hard to his left. In 2 of the frames you can see his nose pointing that way and in the other one you can see the 'snoopy cap' pointing that way as well.


For instance: in this frame http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/gallery/images/shuttle/sts-112/hires/s112e05295.jpg the bit that he says is the empty spacesuit is in fact the right hand side of this http://www.spacetoys.com/prodimages/b_CST17204.jpg.jpg.

The 'empty' black bit is the ear part of that.

Therefore he fails hard.
 
I love a conspiracy theory, but I'm a skeptic too, if nasa did fake this image I find it hard to believe that they would 'forget' to put the astronauts face in there. I can believe they would want to hide their technology - not from the public, but from other nations that might copy their designs, I don't think that is a conspiracy, it's just common sense.

Any who how does one conduct a "comprehensive forensic investigation" without material access to the landers/control pods/detailed specification on the rocket + the rocket itself, and how does someone with seemingly no physics/Astronautical/engineering education decide whether the Apollo mission where "viable", surely that would have been jumped on by the Russians during the cold war?
