At the moment for me I has to be; crusty white bread,Bacon, good cheddar and some lettuce :)

Whats yours?
 
It has to be made like this:

Cheese Baton baguette from Tesco's - Cut in half and toast it lightly
Fresh lettuce/Cucumber
Salad Cream
Tuna crunch filling (mayo/green+ red peppers)
A small amount of cathedral cheese grated

=

Heaven
 
some good olive bread. some fried chorizo, rocket and a few slices of ripe brie. Not much need for a sauce just use some of the amazing fat released from the chorizo.

My other fav is chicken and bacon mayo in a baguette. Home made. 1 chicken breast roasted, 3 strips of smoked streaky bacon grilled till crisp.
Smash the bacon shred the chicken. Plenty of helmans touch of salt loads of pepper in a freshly cooked still warm baguette.

Hmm, some kind of salami, pastami, chorizo with salad and mozarella? On a ciabatta if possible, if there's some chilli sauce then bring it on too :D
 
homemade:

2 sausage, 2 bacon, 1 chicken breast, 1 fried egg, dolop of dadies brown sauce between each item on a big white barm cake

or subway

foot long, wheat bread, chicken tikka,bacon,lettuce, onion, good helping of bbq sauce
 
  • Soft boiled eggs chopped up and mixed in salad cream with watercress.
  • Honey roast ham on cheese-topped baps with tomato relish.
 
MMM sandwiches :)

Love a good sandwich, however my fav's are the simple ones.

White bread, cheese and branston pickle.

White bread and salt'n'vinegar crisps

White bread and jam.

You just can't beat the simple ones :D
