TV will be replaced by the end of the month XD

Blast from the past there!

yeah, it's about ten years old as well, been meaning to replace it for the last 3 or so years, went without it altogether for about 8 months when i sold my frst 360, but had to pull it back out the closet when i got my 2nd 360 about a month ago. being replaced with a TFT as i don't watch TV at all :)

and oh, the shelf also contains a vast amount of blast from the past:

edit: god damn it you meant the chair, why can't people quote things around here!

:D

BLUUURRRY, can't see for toffee, was bad enough on the old x-box, but it's just degenerated to a fuzzy mess in the last year or two.

edit: and can you not see the big red line across the middle of it?

Oic, so it has become defective.

Now that you mention it, there is a thick red line, but I thought that was just due to a low refresh rate, visible only when taking pictures.

not that one :(, i've tried bashing the TV but the line wont go away, bashing stuff normally works but in this case i've had to concede defeat :p

That worked on my old CRT. Bashing it did actually have some positive effect. When the bashing no longer worked, I conceded defeat :(

Thought I'd take a pic of mine as its been a while. Its been in three different places in the house now. Its now in the room it will be staying in but the room won't looking they way it does soon. House was bought last august and is under reconstruction. Downstairs is a no go area, walls have been replastered waiting to be painted. New flooring ready to go down and new fireplaces need to be bought.

I have contacts in high places. Dads ex USAF goes to lakenheath and mildenhall every month to stock up on yank food and other goodies. Like DS's for $90(£45ish). Its his little slice of america, home from home. He served 23 years all over the world including vietnam so he deserves it :)
